As a manager your function is to lead to achieve an end. This book clearly demonstrates how to deal with your employees to develop a committed team and achieve that end. The 12 elements are well explained and the practical, real life examples that are provided for each element enable you to see each at work and their effect.
Highly recommended.
That aside, it is readable and the book IS a good follow-up to First Break All The Rules in my opinion. So the readability is just an unfortunate annoyance -- which is why I give it a 3-star rating. Would have given a 4-star rating if the quality was on par. Regardless, unless you want to purchase the print version, you don't have an alternative.
