I am in! I will tell you more about my side project in the days and weeks ahead. Right now I have to go pick up the kids.

Great Idea by the way.

Hey All,

This is actually a great idea. I remember my bass teacher encouraging me when i was 15 to get into a real band because it would make me learn a lot quicker. If you really want to embed and understand these skills then the quickest way to get it is to do it.

My problem however, is that i have limited understanding of products. I have great technical and process competency but need a product to sell. Can anyone smell an oppurtunity to provide an entreprenuer introduction service?

Josh,

I believe that you and I transitioned at about the same time. That is, our side projects became our main projects. I made the switch on October 3, 2008, and I really appreciate your contribution to making it all happen.

I discovered the PMBA about a year ago and started reading several of the books on your list. I picked up fundamental after fundamental, and that helped me turn my side project into a legitimate business.

Without the most influential book I read last year was "The 4 Hour Work Week".

Congratulations on the switch, and I wish you the best of luck as you continue to grow your community.

And thanks for being such a great resource as I achieved my dream of building my business online.

All the best,

Izzy
