		<description>&lt;strong&gt;Tyler&lt;/strong&gt; - like any tool, the degree of usefulness depends on &lt;em&gt;how&lt;/em&gt; you use it.  If you follow thousands of people, it&#039;s almost worthless. If you follow a small set of people who are doing / talking about interesting things, it&#039;s very useful.  Twitter is also great for finding people who are talking about what you&#039;re interested in, then striking up a conversation.  Here&#039;s an example: I met two great friends via Twitter, who introduced me to my agent, who made the book deal happen. You never know. :-)</description>
